Ice Dam Removal
Low-pressure steam clears the ice without gouging shingles or denting gutters, before the meltwater finds its way into your walls and ceilings.

Steam, not hammers, picks, or salt.
An ice dam forms when heat escaping through the roof melts snow up high, the water runs down to the cold eaves and refreezes, and the growing ridge of ice backs meltwater up under your shingles and into the house. Chipping it off with hammers or hatchets cracks shingles; rock salt and calcium chloride stain the roof and kill the plants below.
We use low-pressure steam that melts the dam at the roof line without touching the shingles. It's the method roofing manufacturers actually recommend, and it's fast, so we can clear a dangerous dam before it causes interior water damage.

What ice dam removal includes
We focus on stopping active water intrusion and clearing the dam safely:
- Low-pressure steam removal of the ice dam at the eaves
- Clearing ice from valleys and around skylights
- Opening blocked gutters and downspouts where reachable
- Channeling so trapped meltwater can drain off the roof
- No shingle chipping, no rock salt, no roof walking in unsafe conditions
Other Services We Offer
Pressure washing isn't the only thing we do. From roof to driveway, every exterior surface, done by the same team.
What sets Eagle's apart
You get the owner, not a crew
From the first quote to the final rinse, the same owner handles your property. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson and whoever showed up that day.
Matched to the surface
Soft wash for siding and roofs, controlled pressure for concrete and pavers. The method is chosen for what's being cleaned, so nothing gets etched, stripped, or left fuzzy.

Connecticut doesn't license pressure-washing contractors specifically, but we're a registered LLC and carry the right insurance. Happy to send documentation.
We're insured for accidents, but they're rare. If something happens, a window seal that wasn't visible, a delicate plant we didn't see, we'll fix it or replace it. Tell us as soon as you notice; we usually catch it ourselves first.
